COURSES
Teach & Equip Digitally
You’re ready to teach the world the content you’ve worked hard to isolate, articulate, and package. Now comes the time where you need course graphics that represent the course you’re selling and what they can expect from you. One thing that’s important to think about ahead of time is how will the course brand be carried out through the intro and outro clips, website, additional course material, marketing, etc. I’ve spent years developing courses with these thoughts in mind, check out a few of the examples of the courses that I’ve helped develop.

Project Overview:
Sex. Church. Culture. was an online event turned series which focused on bringing the conversation of healthy sex and sexuality to the church. It focused on what the Bible said but also how it applied to current culture.
Specific Notes & Challenges:
The focus need to be modern and clean without using lots of imagry.
This was a live event that also was recorded and packaged as an e-course afterwards.
The event was so successful that it launched a series of events that needed to keep the brand but have unique identifiers. To do this, we updated the tagline to note volume numbers for events/courses then used the inverse for the Masterclass/intensive.

Project Overview:
How Far Is Too Far is a video series and upcoming book. The focus was to discuss healthy physical boundaries in dating while avoiding cliche stereotypes.
Specific Notes & Challenges:
The design needed to be able to stand out on a shelf or on a list of products on a screen.
We wanted to focus on the physical aspect of relationships without becoming explicit.
In the end we focused on a bold typeface with the question users are looking for while adding in brush strokes. The strokes represent "the line" individuals are looking for and the semi-messy nature of relationships that are created and not clearly defined.

Project Overview:
Parent Well is an online community that helps parents talk to their children about healthy sexuality in a culture that has become hypersexualized. It was part of the "Live Well" series that focused on family.
Specific Notes & Challenges:
This brand already had some unique parameters. It needed to emulate the "Date Well" logo as part of the "Live Well" series, but also use the teal color the organization had used for it's other parenting resources.
The client was hesitant to use photography to try to capture as many different family types as possible (different ages, ethnicities, age of children, etc.)

Project Overview:
Date Well is an online community program built to help Christian women prepare for and successfully date according to their convictions. The target audience was Christian females of all ages, but leaning towards 20 and 30 year olds.
Specific Notes & Challenges:
This was the first product of the "Live Well" series. It needed to be impactful yet neutral and adaptable to be feminine, masculine, for parents, and also leaders.
The goal was to make it attractive and approachable, avoiding many of the stereotypes and cliches of Christian programs which tend to be cheesy, off=putting, and feel outdated and irrelevant.

Project Overview:
Date Well is an online community program built to help Christian men, get healthy, gain proper perspectives, and date well. The target audience was Christian males of all ages, but leaning towards 20 and 30 year olds.
Specific Notes & Challenges:
This was the 3rd installment of the "Live Well" series. It was important to immolate the "Date Well Women's" program yet have it's own distict feeling that would appeal to Christian men.
We chose to go with a classic gentleman's club style for the brand. A place where men could come, gather, and elevate their beliefs and behavior to act accordingly.

Project Overview:
Unstuck Sex was a one-night online event that would be resold afterward as part of their online series. The goal was to represent an open and safe dialogue about sex without using graphic or pornograph images. We also wanted to steer away from all of the annoying stock images of a man or woman frustrated on the side of the bed.

Project Overview:
Let's Talk About It: Sexuality is a 6-week course for parents, pastors, teachers, or individuals to walk through to understand God's design for sex.
Specific Notes & Challenges:
The unique challenge for this one was that the brand was already established. This course had been a print curriculum for a few years.
We needed to use the similar brand but update it to feel like a now digital product.
Essentially this was the 4th year, the client was selling the same content to it's audience, but in a new format. It needed to feel new, but not misleading as a new product.

Project Overview:
Let's Talk About It: Parenting Sexuality is part two of the series of God's design for sex. This segment focused on helping parents talk to and teach their kids about healthy sexuality.
Specific Notes & Challenges:
The unique challenge for this one was that the brand was already established. This was part of a plan to have multiple curricula or courses on the same topic. We needed to keep the series look, but with the understanding it was a new product.

Project Overview:
The More Gathering was an online event turned ecourse focusing on empowering women to embrace their own self worth, beyond their past experiences or value insinuated via culture or media.
Specific Notes & Challenges:
We wanted to create a look that could also become a series in the future if we could repeat as an annual event or branch out into other services for this demographic.
We wanted to highlight all women, not just early 20 somethings in this course as this topic is necessary and something all women deal with.
This event occurred in July 2020, still in the early stages of Covid when people were able to begin to gather again but before zoom fatigue was a thing.
Client:
Elizabeth Woning
Project Overview:
Pastoring Homosexuality is an ecourse created and lead by OnceGay Leader Elizabeth Woning. The goal is to help pastors and leaders understand the experience of homosexuality and create cultures of love and truth.
Specific Notes & Challenges:
It was important to not sensationalize, villianize, belittle or celebrate the LGBTQ experience.
The client did not want to use the rainbow or use a flamboyant individual out of respect.
Let’s Make Something Great Together
Whether you’ve got a clear vision or just a rough idea, I’d love to help bring it to life.
